Where It All Began

Back in 2018, our founders had this wild dream - what if we could bring authentic, wood-fired pizza magic to everyone? Not just fancy, stuffy restaurant pizza, but the real deal that makes you close your eyes and smile with every bite.

Starting in a tiny kitchen with one wood-fired oven and a mountain of enthusiasm, we began experimenting with traditional recipes passed down through generations. Our goal was simple: create pizzas so good, they'd make your nonna proud (even if she's never been to Italy)!

The Dream Begins

Marco and Sarah meet at a food festival, bonding over their shared obsession with authentic pizza. The crazy idea to start Mod Pizza is born over (what else?) a slice of mediocre pizza!

First Oven Fires Up

After months of recipe testing (and probably gaining 20 pounds), we open our doors! Our first customer? Sarah's mom, who still claims she gave us our first five-star review.

During the tough times, our community rallied around us. We started our "Pizza it Forward" program, delivering free meals to healthcare workers and families in need.
